Review Greenlife Cookware From Amazon
@Maureen – 5 stars
“These pans are a little smaller in diameter than most of my Greenlife Cookware, which surprised me, but they do the job. The teal color is appealing, and some of the lids do double duty, allowing me to avoid having a different lid for each pan. They are easy to clean and functional. I like how they come with instructions on how to use them (such as reducing the heat so they don’t scorch). So far, they haven’t been scratched, although I’ve been careful to use either the utensils that came with the Greenlife cookware set or wooden utensils rather than metal ones. They stack smoothly and don’t take up much space. Overall, I’m really pleased with my purchase.”
@Jillian VanMeter – 4 stars
“They are clearly on the smaller side. I’d say they’re best for a household of two unless you don’t mind items taking turns in your Greenlife pots and pans, but they’re SO easy to cook with and clean afterward. According to the supplied directions, I use a minimal bit of evoo or butter in the pan and don’t use high heat (except for maybe a quick minute for a quick sear). BURNT-ON parts have slipped straight off. I put a soft scour sponge on them, and I no longer dread cleaning the dishes.

Greenlife Soft Grip

The GreenLife Soft Grip is the original model of this brand. It was created as a more affordable alternative to Greenpan, the company’s more expensive line, which we have previously reviewed.
All other collections from GreenLife are essentially variations on this base model, so understanding the Greenlife Soft Grip design is a good starting point. I have used this Greenlife cookware set almost 100 times over the past ten years, and given the attractive price and color options, I expect it to continue to be popular in short-term rentals for the foreseeable future.
These Greenlife frying pans are constructed with a pressed aluminum base, which is then coated with a colorful pastel ceramic on the exterior and white Thermolon ceramic on the cooking surface.
Thermolon is the brand’s ceramic, which became popular as the first non-stick cookware coating to be made without using PTFE, also known as Teflon.
The handles and knob grips on the collection’s glass lids are made of a heat-resistant plastic called Bakelite. For many people, the Greenlife Soft Grip set’s availability in nine distinctive colors is a huge selling point. It’s one of the few affordable brands that offers so many attractive color options, likely inspired by Le Creuset.
Greenlife Soft Grip Pro

The GreenLife Soft Grip Pro collection is very similar to the original collection, with a few notable updates.
Although the handle shape has been slightly improved for better ergonomics, it still uses the same Bakelite material as the base model. Admittedly, this is not a significant difference.
The cook surface color has been changed to black to create a visual distinction, and the brand has made a slight modification to the Thermolon used in the non-stick coating. Specifically, industrial diamond dust has been mixed with the ceramic before it is applied to the pan.
The addition of diamond dust gives the cooking surface a micro-texture, which some argue provides a slight benefit to the pan’s durability. However, in my experience, the inclusion of “diamonds” does not have a significant impact on the durability of a non-stick pan.
While I have not tested this particular model, I have tested dozens of diamond or granite-augmented pans, and the impact of special additives was minimal.
As of now, the Greenlife Soft Grip Pro collection is only available in black and turquoise colors.
Greenlife Introduce Cookware

The GreenLife Induction set is virtually identical to the Greenlife Soft Grip collection, with one crucial difference.
While this cookware is also made from cast aluminum, there is a stainless steel disc pressed into the bottom of each Greenlife pans. Why is this important?
The primary and intended benefit is that the magnetic property of the steel makes this set compatible with induction cooking. None of the other collections will work on an induction stove.
Additionally, the steel has a secondary benefit of adding heat retention to the pans. Aluminum is a great heat conductor, but it tends to fluctuate a lot if you don’t have a steady heat source. The steel in this Greenlife cookware set allows the pans to retain their temperature better, even when the heating element or hob fluctuates or you add cold ingredients to a hot pan.
However, there are a few downsides to this Greenlife cookware set when compared to the base model. Firstly, the additional material means that it costs more. Additionally, the brand only offers it in turquoise, so you don’t get the same range of color options as you would with the other collections.
Greenlife Artisan Cookware

The Artisan collection is offered in GreenLife’s signature turquoise color, as well as two additional colors that are not available in any of the other lines: Easter egg yellow and pink.
Similar to all the other collections, the Artisan Greenlife pans are constructed with a lightweight aluminum base. The non-stick coating is made with Thermolon and augmented with industrial diamond dust.
What sets this collection apart is the improved finish of the handles and lids. Unlike the other sets, this collection features elegant stainless steel handles and loop grips for the lids, which add a touch of sophistication to the overall design.
These updates to the collection’s design may make the Artisan set more appealing to those looking for a stylish and functional Greenlife cookware set. However, it’s important to note that the core construction of the Greenlife pan review remains the same as the other collections, with an aluminum base and a non-stick coating made with Thermolon and industrial diamond dust.
Overall, the Artisan collection offers a unique range of colors and an updated handle and lid design, which may appeal to those seeking a stylish and functional cookware set.
